WATER, WASTEWATER
The development of our Water and Wastewater Laboratory has followed the increased environmental consciousness of the mining industry and of the country as a whole. Evaluation of environmental impact and waste treatment requirements are now an integral part of project feasibility studies and process development. Extremely sensitive analytical techniques are required to detect sub part-per-billion concentrations of pollutants in effluents, mine and mill discharges, ground waters, and stream waters.
