ELECTROCHEMISTRY
An important method to recover a marketable metal product is using electrochemistry. Electrowinning and electrorefining are widely used for copper, nickel, zinc, lead, cobalt, and manganese dioxide production. Hazen specialists have experience with all of these.
Hazen has been involved with electrochemical processes as part of flowsheet development for many projects ranging in size from plating laboratory-scale cathodes to experimental work with commercial-length electrodes.
